My name is Dave Tall and I came to the Olympic Peninsula and the Sequim - Dungeness Valley several years ago after my father retired here from Seattle, it’s now the backdrop for my profession and my home. The Olympic Peninsula is one of the best places on earth in terms of natural beauty, quality of life and rural living. It’s true - the weather is ideal in Sequim rarely being too wet, hot or cold. Pilots call the Dungeness Valley the "Blue Hole" because cloud cover is often diverted to the east and west of Sequim by the location of the Olympic Mountain Range. I made the move in 1999 and started my real estate career at that time joining John L. Scott in Sequim. I earned that companies coveted Presidents Elite award three times in my first six years there. I didn’t know it then, but my timing was perfect, by the time I had learned the land business Sequim like many other real estate markets around the county took off like a rocket! I  joined RE/MAX Fifth Avenue in November 2008. I work in a  beautiful old house that was built in 1930 and had been lived in by a past mayor of Sequim. My office is in the south east corner of the second floor.  I have a home of my own, deep in the interior of the Miller Peninsula. It's on 5 acres covered with Salal, Wild Rhododendrons, Madrona, Fir and Cedar trees. I'm A Broker who's a little different from what you might have come to expect and here's why. I'm a land marketing specialist who sells land exclusively or as it's known in real estate jargon a Land Broker or even a Dirt Man!  This means that I:

  • Work exclusively with land sellers & buyers and am expert in getting land sold.
  • Do know how land is sold in any given market especially our current market - a buyer’s market.
  • Do understand the importance of technology in today's real estate market. I create and maintain for my clients’ properties their own web sites. Buyers can access these sites 24 hours a day - 7 days a week. 
  • Do not spend my weekends driving homebuyers around the county. I only work with qualified land buyers interested in my client’s properties.
  • Have successfully closed over 250 land properties since 2000.
  • Am an able professional and a tough negotiator.
  • Understand exactly why buyers (most of whom are new to the Sequim area) want to live here.
